Michelle joined the McLoughlin lab in January 2021. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with a BSc in Ecology in 2014. After finishing her undergrad, Michelle worked for various environmental monitoring and conservation organizations including Ducks Unlimited, Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute, and most recently Parks Canada. Currently, she is working towards her M.Sc. studying density-dependent habitat selection in plains bison. In her free time Michelle enjoys camping, hiking, running and spending time at the dog park.
